Redbush
The South African name for Rooibos tea is Red bush. South Africa is the only country where Rooibos grows, on the Cederberg. Due to the special composition of the soil on the Cederberg, this is the only place in the world where Rooibos is grown. The good and active substances contained in Rooibos are produced in the bush. After picking, the twigs are crushed and dried in the South African sun. This gives it the beautiful red/brown color.
